To pull him back from the bloody black depths

Submition AnxietyFinally, my grand poem is done.
My head hurts, my soul exposed.
Its true meaning weighs a ton.
Everything fits. It holds a pose.

It seems to please, all well and fine.
But, then again, who would host
musings such as these, of mine?
Would they burn it to toast?

I panic. I start to retreat.
A shot of fear wrenches my thoughts.
I find my cursor ready to delete
all I have to little more than a spot.

No, I must be brave!
Others will know how I felt.
I should not cave,
someone might come and help.

You know, show me a new rhyme.
Help me in some new ways.
To fix it all and make it align,
Wouldn't that make my day.

The saxophone reflecting back the sight of his face

The crowd falls silent, with all eyes on him
No other players, he was a one man band

A silent breath he took
One bead of sweat runs down
His hands were sure, they never shook

He softly began to play
The sound crisp in the warm air
And the legend was seen that day

It told of a man with golden fingers
Flying across that saxophone of his
Memories of his music would always linger

The audience was struck dumb
All the eyes in the joint focusing on him
This was no ordinary low class player scum
Swaying gently to the beat
He keeps that rhythm going strong
The music rocking in the summer heat

Slowly the music began its cessation
The sax lowering and the sound falterin

Frightened i am shivering i can,
Wanting to run so very far,

I had such feeling of elation
Like battery that's fully charged
With energy of inspiration

I moved on bike with speed of light
I have accomplished daily chores

In ballet class I beat my record
By doing thirty six fouettés
I gave off sparks as I have turned
(They were not perfect I confess)
I danced adagio with soul
I could have jumped over the moon
I could keep going on and on
But class has ended all too soon
Back at the school yard with the kids
I started writing words of ode
In praise of artists building mazes
Life is a labyrinth of code

Time Saving RecipeSome oregano for the stress
Relax tight nerves with it's caress
A cup of fresh brewed buckwheat tea
Spreads peace and leaves mind demon free
Fresh piece of mango like gold sun
A snack that's healthy, sweet and fun
While at the sunset you'll be looking
Let kids experiment with cooking
Let someone else wash dirty dishes
In meantime you fulfill your wishes
Play piano or jot down few words
Decipher hieroglyphic codes
Let all your hidden selves come out
Perhaps a scientist will sprout
And when you've saved a little time

Searching for Lost TimeI am searching for lost time
Life's a mess in disarray
So much clutter in my place
Have to clean it up one day
I have found half an hour
Lying on the kitchen floor
Minutes under pile of shoes
Scattered by the entrance door
Some time hidden in the laundry
Really hope it did not shrink
Quarter hour under piano
Some fell into kitchen sink
In dark corner under book shelf
Half an hour in flakes of dust
Under bed rolled whole round hour
With the stains of mould and rust
In twilight before the sunrise
Torn between the maze and rhyme
Racing with the morning rush
Hope for both to find the time

As the last crimson petal reaches earth
Chaos erupts into the world outside
And the last salvation is given birth
The child who's power doth reside;
who shall bear witness to the collapse,
Crimson child takes up arms in iron clasp
Discovering relentless worlds which turn
The moral man into heedless beast.
Forsake his life to become a god;
Or live as mortal man to free the chaste?
Break from condemnation, expose the fraud
O! Crimson Child who found thy release,
Guide their souls to bond, or lead our souls to peace. . .
