Too LateI watch the sky, as it burns
Halfway past the point of no return
Sewing on a smile to numb the hurt
The insanity may have broken him
But I think the pain finally set in
He killed the ending to begin
There is nothing left, it's all gone
There's no way in hell to right this wrong
He left me to puzzle it out alone
So if there's a way to erase this
To pull him back from the bloody black depths
As long as I live, I don't intend to fully lose him.
Submition AnxietyFinally, my grand poem is done.
My head hurts, my soul exposed.
Its true meaning weighs a ton.
Everything fits. It holds a pose.
It seems to please, all well and fine.
But, then again, who would host
musings such as these, of mine?
Would they burn it to toast?
I panic. I start to retreat.
A shot of fear wrenches my thoughts.
I find my cursor ready to delete
all I have to little more than a spot.
No, I must be brave!
Others will know how I felt.
I should not cave,
someone might come and help.
You know, show me a new rhyme.
Help me in some new ways.
To fix it all and make it align,
Wouldn't that make my day.
One click and it's through,
Ode to the NovaEnter the age of Youtube
Where playing a game became a revenue.
Commentary here, and a walk-through there
You could say these fuckers were everywhere.
But look, what's up ahead?
On a ground so oftenly tread.
Leading the fad on an white angel steed
The Nova charges steadfast indeed.
Tearing down knock-offs with a voice so sublime
Able to deviate and stand the test of time.
Neigh he stood not alone in the reign of power
His friends helped to keep his projects unsour.
The man of Spoons and the one claimed Immortal
Ride side by side him in formation.
The trio of wits; the regulars called they
A deadly force of elimination.
To this day, the No
So longA time so long
The start is gone
Longer than forever
An everlasting song
We waste away
Were skin and bones
Never moving or seeing
Last light has flown
We slowly die
Among the dead
Close our eyes
And rest our heads
A time so long
We forever see
The shadow of time
In you and me
The Jazz ManHe walks along the busy street
Black instrument case in his hands
Feels the warm summer air, the gentle heat
In the back room he opens the case
The shiny golden surface glinting in the dim light
The saxophone reflecting back the sight of his face
Onto that stage he goes, sax in hand
The crowd falls silent, with all eyes on him
No other players, he was a one man band
A silent breath he took
One bead of sweat runs down
His hands were sure, they never shook
He softly began to play
The sound crisp in the warm air
And the legend was seen that day
It told of a man with golden fingers
Flying across that saxophone of his
Memories of his music would always linger
The audience was struck dumb
All the eyes in the joint focusing on him
This was no ordinary low class player scum
Swaying gently to the beat
He keeps that rhythm going strong
The music rocking in the summer heat
Slowly the music began its cessation
The sax lowering and the sound falterin
Dont sayFear and pain running in my brain,
Help me please or so to say,
But please don't even say.
Frightened i am shivering i can,
Wanting to run so very far,
Stressed levels high for no one.
Panicked i am how does it change?
Should i go run so far away?
Never come back to this here town,
Hoping to never ever be found.
Hiding from many do not chase me,
Do not say that you love me,
Not a normal child for sure i am,
Do not say i will change,
Let me hide i will run,
If you pursue me you'll be stunned.
Scared i am i cannot hide it,
For he told me that,
To come too close hurts the most,
Stay away as one can for its the whole plan.
Do not dare say once again,
Tis not something to be laughed at,
Scared me you did please stay away,
Don't ever tell me i love you again.
Panic attacks different breaths,
I cannot see into this present,
Losing my vision yes i am,
Is it all my fault again?
No one should love me,
Please run away,
Don't tell me you love me again,
Trying to kill as one many,
Do you want me to
Power of InspirationWhen I deciphered morning code
I had such feeling of elation
Like battery that's fully charged
With energy of inspiration
The poems flowed on page like speech
I moved on bike with speed of light
I have accomplished daily chores
All day I felt like bird in flight
In ballet class I beat my record
By doing thirty six fouettés
I gave off sparks as I have turned
(They were not perfect I confess)
I danced adagio with soul
I could have jumped over the moon
I could keep going on and on
But class has ended all too soon
Back at the school yard with the kids
I started writing words of ode
In praise of artists building mazes
Life is a labyrinth of code
Time Saving RecipeSome oregano for the stress
Relax tight nerves with it's caress
A cup of fresh brewed buckwheat tea
Spreads peace and leaves mind demon free
Fresh piece of mango like gold sun
A snack that's healthy, sweet and fun
While at the sunset you'll be looking
Let kids experiment with cooking
Let someone else wash dirty dishes
In meantime you fulfill your wishes
Play piano or jot down few words
Decipher hieroglyphic codes
Let all your hidden selves come out
Perhaps a scientist will sprout
And when you've saved a little time
Just sit and dream or write a rhyme
Searching for Lost TimeI am searching for lost time
Life's a mess in disarray
So much clutter in my place
Have to clean it up one day
I have found half an hour
Lying on the kitchen floor
Minutes under pile of shoes
Scattered by the entrance door
Some time hidden in the laundry
Really hope it did not shrink
Quarter hour under piano
Some fell into kitchen sink
In dark corner under book shelf
Half an hour in flakes of dust
Under bed rolled whole round hour
With the stains of mould and rust
In twilight before the sunrise
Torn between the maze and rhyme
Racing with the morning rush
Hope for both to find the time
Sleepy PoemDay has scattered like the sand
Sifted through the hourglass
Sun has fallen into river
Shadows hiding in the grass
I just want to take a breath
Listen to the silence sing
Sit for moment with closed eyes
Feel caress of angel's wing
Drop by drop the sleepless hours
Overfilled the coffee cup
Word by word a sleepy poem
In a dream on lines curled up
...A happy smile greets sleepy day
With sparks of laughter in a pun
Of the amazing game we play
In maze of words we're having fun
..All the morning on my mind thoughts of dream
In my dream I walk on path of moonbeam
Silver path that leads to garden of flowers
In these flowers I'll find the magical hours
Long distance callI close my eyes to feel connection
Turning all thoughts in one direction
Mind reaching out through the wall
As if I 'm placing a phone call
I wonder if you feel same way
Or is it just a game I play
If you can tell that I am smiling
When I'm long distance number dialing
Voicemail MessageJust called to say I'm on my way
For such long time I've been away
Can't wait to be in your embrace
I miss your voice, I miss your face
I tried to call you from the post
But couldn't reach you, signal lost
The journey took me to far land
Of which you'll hear from me firsthand

Hush Hush, by N. HarveyHush little baby, close your eyes,
And listen to my lullabies.
Cuz if you wake before the sun,
I promise it will not be fun.
For as you dream, the demons play,
Sleeping under your bed during the day.
But oh, hush hush, my little dear,
It's your screams they want to hear.
Nightmares are your fears come true
Reality is a nightmare, too.
Your mama's hugs can't slow their pace,
Just pull off their masks to find her face.
But hush, little baby, and hear my voice,
And know you'll have another choice.
Keep tumbling down your terror well,
Falling deeper down to hell.
But if you blink, and it's still real
Nightmares never let you heal
Once Upon A Time. . .Once upon a time,
A beautiful plant grew
In my neighbor's garden.
It first appeared
When my neighbor first took residence
In this lovely house.
I watched it grow,
Year by year;
Season by season,
Yet I never saw it bud or bloom
Until one day, in early May
When it's golden leaves were most radiant.
One day, I stood outside
And I was just so lucky
To see this young plant blossom;
So eager was I to see the bud bloom
That I stole into my neighbor's garden
And I plucked this bud before it's time.
Never again was it the same;
It seemed to away when I drew by
It withered when I caressed it's leaves.
Though my neighbor treated it
S.A.M. ProlougeAs is with all life; there is a beginning, and there is an end. Where does Ours begin? Sometimes We are told that We began in a lab; genetically engineered with less fear. . . less overbearing emotions, such as guilt or pride. To become a weapon. That was Our purpose in life. The year was about 2012 when We officially came into this world. It was a year of devastation, recreation, elimination, retribution, technological advancement far beyond what mankind had ever conceived. But most importantly. . . It was a Revolution. More importantly, the date of Our birth symbolized the Eve of that Revolution. We were to lead it by fate, and We
No More Than A Love Letter...Dear Universe,
This letter is not to you. This letter was meant for someone special in my life, but I'm going to share it with you. Why? I don't really know. Maybe It's simply because I'm alone now. Maybe not as alone as some people can be; but still. . . I am alone. No God to watch my back, though, had there been one, I would have forsaken it long ago, as I have now, for the one God I had believed in has forsaken me; in return, I revoked my catholic faith and I turn my back on all gods.
But to whom this letter truly concerns; I don't know if you'll ever get to read this. . . I don't know if you'll ever stumble across it and know it's
Crimson PetalAs the last crimson petal reaches earth
Chaos erupts into the world outside
And the last salvation is given birth
The child who's power doth reside;
who shall bear witness to the collapse,
Crimson child takes up arms in iron clasp
Discovering relentless worlds which turn
The moral man into heedless beast.
Forsake his life to become a god;
Or live as mortal man to free the chaste?
Break from condemnation, expose the fraud
O! Crimson Child who found thy release,
Guide their souls to bond, or lead our souls to peace. . .
